From Vision to Action: My Story
My journey began in Tennessee, where I first discovered the power of curiosity, discipline, and leadership. Studying business and psychology gave me a foundation to understand people and organizations, while my time at Wake Forest sharpened my financial and strategic skills — lessons that would become the backbone of everything I pursued.
I started my professional path in banking, learning to analyze complex financial landscapes, guide organizations through critical decisions, and balance risk with opportunity. As I advanced to roles like CFO and COO, I realized that leadership wasn’t just about numbers — it was about aligning vision with execution, inspiring teams, and creating measurable impact.
This understanding naturally led me into entrepreneurship. I launched and grew multiple ventures, from Always There Fencing and High Note Roofing to media initiatives like City on Demand TV and Third Coast TV. Each venture taught me that building a business is as much about people and purpose as it is about strategy and results.
Alongside business, I’ve pursued mission-driven work through initiatives like Divergent Ministries, where I’ve been able to combine leadership, faith, and mentorship to uplift communities and inspire others to reconnect with their purpose.
Through every chapter — from education, to banking, to entrepreneurship, to media production — the thread has been the same: turning vision into action, learning from every challenge, and creating impact that lasts. This is my journey, and it’s still unfolding.
