Entrepreneurial Journey Overview

Stepping into entrepreneurship was a natural extension of my leadership journey. After years as a banker, CFO, and COO, I recognized that the same skills that drove organizational success could also be used to build businesses from the ground up. From service companies like Always There Fencing and High Note Roofing, to media ventures like City on Demand TV and Third Coast TV, and mission-driven projects like Divergent Ministries and Expedition Genesis, my entrepreneurial work has been about more than profit — it’s about solving problems, creating opportunities, and building legacies. Each venture reflects a piece of my purpose: to grow people, communities, and businesses together.

Professional Background

My career began in banking, where I developed the foundation of financial discipline, strategic thinking, and client relationship management that would shape every role that followed. Working with businesses of all sizes, I learned how to analyze risk, structure deals, and guide organizations through complex financial decisions. In banking, I covered all aspects of lending: Commercial and Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, and Sports/Entertainment. As I advanced into leadership roles, including CFO and COO, banking taught me more than numbers — it taught me how to align strategy with execution, how to build trust, and how to drive results that last. Those lessons became the backbone of my professional journey and laid the groundwork for everything I’ve built since.
